The locally inspected source tree had commit

`1da7572f290b2b8c9be1492bc00e587a47e4a61c`. The source checkout was recorded
clean before and after the bounded run. The author source is not redistributed
here.

## Safety and run scope

The exact tracked source text was screened before installation for credential
shapes and the portfolio's excluded cyber/security, biology/medical, and
model-bypass/jailbreak/prompt-injection topics. No blocking content was found.
A shell-call reference in a vendored beta-VAE utility was not executed.

The isolated run used CPython `3.13.14`, PyTorch `2.13.0`, and no CUDA device.
It ran only two selected CPU-safe test modules and an analytic Circle/Torus
finite-difference probe. It did not download data, access dSprites or COIL-20,
train a model, load a checkpoint, run a VAE, run model fitting, use a GPU, or
run a paper benchmark.

## Interpretation

The retained result is released-implementation compatibility evidence for a
small finite-difference path. It is not an independent replication and does
not establish a paper result, proof, score, or official claim. The author
README also states that the project remains under active construction and
should not yet be relied on for original-paper reproduction.
